Data Recovery Freeware Review - NTFS Undelete

NTFS Undelete is a Free Data Recovery tools such as SoftPerfect File Recovery, Restoration or Recuva, to recover deleted files on the hard drive in which clusters have not yet been overwritten by other files.

As its name suggests, it only works with NTFS partition. The interface is no different from other special software of its kind and allows to scan a volume, and then retrieve the files checked (the deleted files display an icon strikeout). Several options are proposed for the recovery: the software can rename files automatically to recover (it happens that the name of the files is not recoverable), ignore damaged files or recover the directory structure. A search module allows you to filter requests depending on the file size or modified date and / or creation.

Data Recovery Opinion:
NTFS Undelete is properly designed and efficient in its field, but its limitation to the NTFS format precludes its use to retrieve data on a memory card and its competitors are already numerous. But don't hesitate to test it
